Yin
A calming, restorative yoga. Focuses on gentle stretches held for longer periods to release tension and activate the parasympathetic nervous system (your "rest and digest" mode).
The following evening wind-down yoga routine can be done in 15–30 minutes:
- Child’s Pose (Balasana) – 2–3 minutes
- Cat-Cow Stretch (Marjaryasana-Bitilasana) – 1–2 minutes
- Supine Twist (Supta Matsyendrasana) – 1–2 minutes per side
- Legs-Up-the-Wall Pose (Viparita Karani) – 5–10 minutes
- Reclining Bound Angle Pose (Supta Baddha Konasana) – 3–5 minutes
- Corpse Pose (Savasana) – 3–5 minutes
